09:28 pm - Anonymous Group verses Church of Scientology

I have been reading about the Anonymous Group verses the Church of Scientology recently and have found some very fascinating reading material. Here are some links so you can read for yourself:

To be fair (and for general background) here is the main Scientology website:
http://www.scientology.org/home.html

(Notice that Scientology claims to ‘champion’ the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. It is interesting to note that article 19 of the declaration states: “Everyone has the right to freedom of opinion and expression; this right includes freedom to hold opinions without interference and to seek, receive and impart information and ideas through any media and regardless of frontiers.” The following pages may show instances where the CoS does not really live up to this ideal.)

The main page for the Anonymous Group is here:
http://www.whyweprotest.net/

“Anonymous originally chose Scientology as a campaign target because of the events surrounding the now infamous Tom Cruise Scientology video. While the video itself was not enough to spark interest, the untamed aggression of the Church of Scientology to remove it did. Since our campaign began, Anonymous has uncovered or brought into the public eye hundreds of illegal actions, fraudulent activities, and human rights violations perpetrated by the Church of Scientology. ”
"Our goal is to stop the blatant illegal actions and fear-mongering used by the Church of Scientology."

A lot of good information is available on:
http://www.xenu.net/index.html

My goal was to make an ultimate index to the most important information about Scientology and do everything possible to ensure that the CoS did not manage to take it down.

Very compelling stories from children of Scientologists on:

I suggest that Google and Wikipedia are friendly; the Church of Scientology is not. Draw your own conclusions.

09:44 pm - Cross Posts

Hello to everyone and anyone reading my LJ. Long time eh?
Well petrol is not $2/l after all <phew>.

I am in the process of moving to Wellington and am temporarily between jobs and places to live. If anyone could help with either please let me know. Anyway I decided that it is time for me to cross-post some of my better photos to deviant art and some of my poems here. My deviant art page can be found at: http://bwilds.deviantart.com.

So here are the poems that I have posted on DA to date:
